Q1. How many Blades are supported in the c3000 Enclosure?
A1. Up to 8 Half-Height c-Class Blades or 4 Full-Height c-Class Blades, or a mix of half and full-height blades
Q2. Will the c3000 Enclosure support anything other than Server Blades?
A2. Yes the c3000 Enclosure will support future Blades that will provide additional capabilities and processor support beyond the existing c-Class Server Blades.
Q3. Can you convert the Rack model to the Tower model?
A3. We're sorry, but the Tower and rack models are not convertible; please make sure to order a rack model when you plan to deploy in a standard 19" rack, and order a Tower model when you do not have racks at the deployment location.
Q4. Can I secure the c3000 Tower enclosure against theft of valuable components?
A4. Yes, with the purchase of the optional c3000 Tower Security Panel Kit, you can lock the front and back of the enclosure so that server blades, storage blades, and interconnect modules cannot be removed.

A1. There are 4 interconnect bays in the c3000 Enclosure that can support up to 3 I/O fabrics.

A3. Yes, the multi-terabit backplane in the c3000 Enclosure is designed to accommodate future high-speed networking, server and storage interconnects.
