Yes the c7000 Enclosure currently supports the SB40c Storage Blade, HP StorageWorks Ultrium Tape Blades and PCI Expansion Blade. Future Blades will provide additional capabilities and processor support beyond the existing c-Class Server & Storage Blades. |

Can I connect a KVM switch to the server blades? |

Here are two options for connecting to a KVM. The HP Onboard Administrator with KVM allows connection of a KVM or KVM/IP Switch to the USB and VGA ports on the rear of the enclosure and provides access to the console for each server. Alternatively with the purchase of the HP BladeSystem c-Class KVM Interface Adapter a KVM solution can be directly connected to the front of a blade.

Yes all HP c-Class enclosures have full backwards and forwards compatibility, that is existing blades are supported in the new enclosures and any future blades will be supported in the existing

The c7000 eclosure is supported with a Worldwide Limited warranty featuring 3 year of parts, labor, and on-site service. In addition processors, memory, and hard drives are also covered by HP's prefailure warranty.

No the HP2400W Power Supply does not support low-line voltages. In order to achieve a high efficiency solution you must run at high-line voltages (200 - 240V). For low-line solutions we recommend using the c3000 enclosure.

What is HP Dynamic Power Capping? |

Dynamic Power Capping is the ability of the a customer to limit the power consumption of the enclosure, by setting an enclosure Dynamic Power Cap within the Onboard Administrator. The enclosure Dynamic Power Cap will be shared amongst all of the installed devices and individual server caps will be changed to match the server load. This will optimize the performance of the servers while ensuring that the enclosure stays below the Dynamic Power Cap value.
