Own the world’s first terabyte blade

Virtualization performance is held back when capacity limits of memory and I/O are reached, not allowing you to fully exploit server virtualization efficiencies. HP is announcing its largest blade portfolio expansion in four years, with seven new ProLiant G7 server blades designed to break through these barriers. The balanced architecture of the new server blades maximizes application performance and lowers licensing costs.

The new HP ProLiant server blades set new milestones with the industry’s first blades to support up to one terabyte of memory and up to four times  more virtual machines than other blades(1). They are also the industry’s first to include integrated FlexFabric technology to simplify connections to storage and networking, further lowering infrastructure costs.

Available Now
Four socket performance at two socket economics. Featuring the latest AMD Opteron™ processors and integrated HP FlexFabric networking.
No compromise design with integrated FlexFabric networking. Helps simplify network connections, lower infrastructure costs, and deliver the performance you need for demanding application workloads.
Increased virtualization performance with the industry’s first blade to support a terabyte of memory (2) per server and integrated FlexFabric I/O. Provides up to three times more virtual machines per blade and 73% less hardware per 1,000 virtual machines(3).
Increased virtualization efficiency with the largest memory footprint of any two processor blade(4) and integrated FlexFabric I/O. Provides up to four times more virtual machines per blade and 66% less hardware per 1,000 virtual machines(5).
Simplified network connections with FlexFabric I/O now integrated into the world’s first virtualization blade
Simplified network connections with FlexFabric I/O now integrated into the best selling server blade in the world
Increased performance for high performance computing (6). Supporting 1536 cores, 12 TB of memory per rack, and 20X bandwidth with integrated Infiniband networking.
