HP DVD±R/RW Option Kit (servers)

The HP DVD±R/RW drive is the next generation of optical drive for HP ProLiant servers. The DVD±R/W drive will be capable of reading DVD 4.7 GB through 8.5 GB media. It will also be able to read standard stamped, CD-R, and CD-RW CD media. The drive supports writing to CD-R, CD-RW, DVD±R/RW, and DVD-R/RW media. This drive supports major OSs for reading media. Software support is required for writing to media. For Microsoft® operating systems, this is available by using the included Roxio Media Creator. For other operating systems, an operating system-specific software utility is required for writing to media.
