Two optional fiber channel adapters are supported by the HP ProLiant BL25p. Both adapters are mezzanine circuit boards which connect to the top of a standard NIC adapter board, which in turn, connects directly to the server blade system board. These optional fiber channel adapters are available via option kits and must be ordered separately.

  • There are no SFP's included in the Emulex mezzanine kit for use with ProLiant BL p-Class Fibre Channel pass-through interconnects. If you require SFPs for use with an Emulex mezzanine and a FC pass through interconnect please order an SFP option kit (P/N 397577-B21) which will provide 2 FC SFPs per option kit.
