HP USB Floppy Drive Key |
|||
|
The HP USB Floppy Drive Key provides the functionality of two USB devices in one compact package. The device functions as both a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed flash storage device and a USB floppy. The key is offered in both 1 GB and 256 MB storage capacities. Lightweight and compact, the USB Floppy Drive Key is ideal for users who need both a small, portable mass storage device provided by a standard USB Drive Key and a USB floppy drive. The USB Floppy Drive Key functions as both a mass storage device and as a floppy drive. Fully plug-and-play and hot-swap compatible, the operating system will immediately detect both the mass storage device and the floppy device and assign drive letters to both. The USB Floppy Drive does not require any drivers and plugs directly into the USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 ports found on virtually all systems. Whether using the key solely for its mass storage capabilities or as both a floppy and USB 2.0 Hi-Speed mass storage device, the USB Floppy Drive Key is an ideal solution for use with HP ProLiant servers. The USB Floppy Drive Key is compatible with HP ProLiant servers running Microsoft® Windows® Server 2000, Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003, and Linux distributions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10. HP ProLiant server users now have an ultra-portable storage alternative maintaining floppy drive functionality that can be carried in their pocket or on their key chain. |
