How to Order
| How to order the HP VirtualSystem CV2 for Citrix XenDesktop on Microsoft Hyper-V |
The HP VirtualSystem CV2 for Citrix XenDesktop on Microsoft Hyper-V includes
all of the HP hardware, HP software components plus factory integration,
onsite installation and 3 yr of 24x7 hardware and software support. Microsoft
Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V is included in the solution part number
below. Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2008 R2
must be purchased separately from Microsoft or its authorized resellers.
Citrix XenDesktop 5.5 Platinum edition must be purchased separately from
Citrix or its authorized resellers. However, installation and support
services for both of the software are included in the HP VirtualSystem
CV2 for Citrix XenDesktop on Microsoft Hyper-V. All software will be installed
on-site and integrated into customer active directory infrastructure.

The HP VirtualSystem CV2 for Citrix XenDesktop on Microsoft Hyper-V is
based on Citrix XenDesktop 5.5 (must be purchased separately), Microsoft
Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V R2, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine
Manager (must be purchased from Microsoft), HP Insight Control software,
and the HP Insight Control for Microsoft System Center. All software will
be installed on-site and integrated into customer active directory infrastructure.

| Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V R2 |
Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V, the next-generation hypervisor-based server virtualization technology, is available as an integral feature of Windows Server 2008 R2 and enables you to implement server virtualization with ease. Hyper-V allows you to make the best use of your server hardware investments by consolidating multiple server roles as separate virtual machines (VMs) running on a single physical machine. Administrators want flexibility in allocating computing resources for specific tasks. Virtualization technologies provide this flexibility by decoupling the hardware from the workload being performed.
