The HP ProLiant BL620c G7 Server Blade earned the #1 two-processor Linux performance result on the two-tier SAP® Sales and Distribution (SD) standard application benchmark with SAP enhancement package 4 for the SAP ERP application 6.0. Using two Intel® Xeon® Processors, the ProLiant BL620c G7 server achieved 6,230 SAP SD benchmark users and 34,020 SAP Application Performance Standard (SAPS). The BL620c G7 result represents 18.7% more SAP SD benchmark users than the next highest two-processor Linux result, by the IBM System POWER 730 Server, at 5,250 SAP SD benchmark users and 28,680 SAPS, and 30% more SAP SD benchmark users than the highest previous two-processor Linux result.
