ProLiant Servers - HP provides industry-leading management capabilities with ProLiant servers, which enable customers to deploy, monitor and manage HP ProLiant servers running Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server easily. Coinciding with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server Service Pack 2, enhancements to the software extend this manageability to virtualization layer. In response to customer feedback, HP now provides full agent support of the host system running the Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server virtualization kernel.
Integrity servers - The policy-based power management capability ("cpufreq") available in SLES 10 SP2 now supports the performance-states feature of the Itanium 9100 series processors ("Montvale") utilized in HP Integrity servers. This feature enables individual CPU power regulation that helps customers to better manage data center power for greater cost-savings.
