How Do I Obtain Replacement Licenses For A Lost License File?

Article: 134

Applies to: All releases

Replacement licenses for a lost license file may be obtained by contacting the HP Call Center. Refer to Contact HP Worldwide to find the call center for your region. Have the following information available:

Name of the company and person to contact.
Rapid Deployment Pack 16-alpha character or 20-alphanumeric character product registration number used when initially registering the licenses. The registration number is in the form of xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx or xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx and is located on the back side of the Rapid Deployment Pack software kit.

If the product registration number is not available, then the following information will be necessary:

Email address used when initially registering the licenses.
Purchase Order or Sales Order Number associated with the license purchase.
Whether the purchase was made through HP Direct or a Reseller.
Part number(s) and quantity ordered of each part number of the Rapid Deployment Pack software kit. The part number is in the form of six digits and three digits separated by a dash, xxxxxx-xxx.
If applicable, serial number of enclosure(s).

Note: This procedure may be used to obtain a new license file if the registration email did not contain the license file attachment because your network is setup to remove zip file email attachments.
