How To Execute A System Configuration Task On A ProLiant DL100 Series Server

Article: 20000046

Applies to: Release 6.x

To run a System Configuration task on a ProLiant DL100 series server, edit the Run Script - Capture System Configuration or Run Script - Deploy System Configuration task. Replace the definitionfile=conrep.xml with the appropriate ProLiant DL100 series server model definition file. Several definition files are provided with RDP on the Deployment Server under the <InstallPath>\hpfeatures\hw-proliant\bin directory. Definition files can also be found on hp.com at the server model's web page and copied into the bin directory.

NOTE: A scripted install job to install a virtualization host onto a target server, may include a system configuration task to enable processor virtualization extensions.
