Q1. What is the NC112T?
A1. The NC112T is a 10/100/1000Mps server adapter that has been designed, developed, and tested to meet the needs of ProLiant server customers. The NC112T supports a single lane (x1) PCI Express bus and is based on the PCIe v1.1 standard and ships with support for all major network operating systems. It makes use of the latest Intel 82574L silicon and is suitable for both standard and low profile slots. It will be a supported option on most ProLiant DL and ML servers at a highly competitive price.
Q2. What's new about the NC112T compared to earlier ProLiant Server Gigabit Adapters?
A2. The standard features of the NC110T include:
  • Intel 82574L PCIe Gigabit controller
  • Flexible to order and install - either standard or low profile capability with only 1 sku
  • Supports TCP Checksum and Segmentation (LSO) offloading to reduce CPU utilization

A1. The NC112T supports the HP Insight software, including:
  • SmartStart - intelligent integration tool that simplifies the process of installing and configuring ProLiant systems.
  • HP Systems Insight Manager - comprehensive systems management tools designed to provide proactive and industry leading predicative fault and performance management. It also is supported by the Network Configuration Utility (NCU) that allows it to work in multi-vendor, heterogeneous network teams.

Q1. What is the warranty on the NC110T?
A1. The NC112T carries a standard ProLiant option warranty maximum of the remaining warranty of the HP product in which it is installed (to a maximum three-year, limited warranty). The minimum is a one-year limited warranty.
Q2. Are HP Care Pack Services available?
A2. Care Pack Services are available and coverage for NICs installed in DL rack-mounted servers are available at no additional cost to customers if they purchase a Care Pack Service Pack for the server that the NIC is installed in. HP Care Pack Services for rack-mounted ProLiant DL servers and storage provide support for all HP-branded hardware options qualified for inclusion in your server at the time of purchase or afterwards.
