Q1. What is the NC360m?
A1. The adapter is a dual-port Gigabit Ethernet, x4 PCI Express type 1 mezzanine option for HP BladeSystem c-Class servers. It is supported on ProLiant c-Class servers in all mezzanine slots. It is the third dual-port adapter option for c-Class allowing ProLiant customers a choice between an adapter that uses either an Intel or Broadcom controller.
Q2. What are the standard features?
A2. The standard features include the following:
  • Dual port with each port having a 1000 Mbps transfer rate for an aggregated throughput of up to 2Gbps.
  • Supported on all ProLiant servers in all mezzanine slots, multiple cards per server.
  • Designed with server needs in mind including support for IEEE 802.1p, 802.1Q, 802.3, 802.3ad, and 802.3x, jumbo frames, WOL, TCP/IP checksum offload, LSO, interrupt coalescence, and IPv6 packet transmit and receive (excluding jumbo frames and all offload capabilities).

Q4. What management solutions are available?
A4. The adapter supports the HP ProLiant Essentials, including:
  • SmartStart - an intelligent integration tool that simplifies the process of installing and configuring ProLiant systems.
  • HP Systems Insight Manager - a comprehensive systems management tools designed to provide proactive and industry leading predicative fault and performance management.
Q5. What is the adapter warranty?
A5. The adapter is supported with a worldwide limited one year warranty or the warranty of the server that holds the adapter, which ever is greater.

Q1. What server mezzanine slots does the adapter support?
A1. The adapter is supported in ProLiant c-Class servers in all mezzanine slots. Multiple cards are supported per server.
Q2. What is the transfer rate of the adapter?
A2. The transfer rate is 1000 Mbps per port from the adapter to the interconnect module bays in the blade enclosure.
