Q1. What BladeSystem servers does the NC512m support?
A1. The NC512m adapter is supported on all ProLiant c-Class servers in mezzanine slot 2 or 3 (full height servers) and slot 2 (half height servers).

Q2. What interconnects support the NC512m?
A2. The NC512m is supported by the HP 10Gb Ethernet Blade Switch (445860-B21).

Q3. What is the warranty on the NC512m?
A3. The NC512m is supported with a worldwide limited one year warranty or the warranty of the server it is installed in, whichever is greater.

Q4. How many NC512m adapters are supported per server?
A4. One NC512m adapter is supported per server for up to thirty-two (32) 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter ports per c7000 enclosure.

Q5. What is Linux Socket Acceleration?
A5. The NC512m includes the Netxen Linux Socket Acceleration (LSA) technology. LSA is a unique firmware-based stateful TCP offloading solution for Linux. Since LSA is firmware based, it is installed similar to a loadable driver; no changes to the operating system or applications are required.
