A1. The BL480c QuickSpecs include descriptions of all models of the ProLiant BL480c and an extensive list of supported options from HP.
Q2. Is the ProLiant BL480c similar to a ProLiant DL380?
A2. Yes, the ProLiant BL480c is similar to the DL380. There are some differences between the DL380 and the BL480c. For instance, the BL480c has 4 more DIMM slots and 2 more network adapters compared to the DL380, but fewer drive slots. The BL480c delivers a rich feature set that has never been offered in a 2P blade form factor.
Q3. What options are available for the ProLiant BL480c blade server?

  • Additional memory and processors
  • Hot plug SAS or SATA hard disk drives
