Who should upgrade
This upgrade corrects a problem with jumpy on-screen display and dialog boxes when using the console switch directly or with the remote expansion unit (J1475A). If you are not experiencing this problem, there is no need to upgrade.

Code A or B
To upgrade the firmware code on your console switch you will first need to determine if your unit is running A or B revision code. To do this, select the menu choice 'Version Information' from the command menu. The first letter of the revision code displayed will determine if your unit uses the A or B code.
