Do the servers have to be identical? |

Yes, the two servers must be identical in part number for RSO to function properly. Other configurations may work, but these have not been tested nor are supported. |

No. Legacy servers cannot be used. RSO will only operate appropriately the servers listed on the RSO server compatibility matrix. |

The Failover occurs as soon as the fault is detected. Initialization of the recovery server depends on the following:
- the response time selected when you first installed RSO,
- the server you have selected,
- the processor speed,
- the Operating System, and

Two new licensing options are provided. A flex node option and a Master License Agreement (MLA) option. The flex node option simplifies ordering and license fulfillment by enabling HP customers to purchase a license key for the exact quantity of nodes or servers desired with one fulfillment kit with the RSO CD. The second option is the MLA licensing option. This is another option designed to simplify the licensing and fulfillment of Insight software. This option provides the customer with the ability to order a key for the quantity desired and then purchase a license (a material-less SKU) for each node deployed over time.
