Fixes mouse issues when used with the PS2 interface on the TFT7600 RKM.

From a Windows OS platform computer that is ***NOT*** part of the KVM installation, download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename according to the SoftPaq Number.

Updating the HP 1×4 Console Switch firmware
  • Place the FW for the 1×4 KVM Console Switch on the computer that will be used to flash the KVM
  • Connect the KVM to the computer using a straight through male to female DB9 serial cable
  • Using HyperTerminal or another terminal software establish a session using the appropriate COM port with the following settings - 57600,8,N,1,N (57600 bps, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control
  • Press the Enter key to initiate the session
  • Type V to display the current versions and note them
  • Type U to start the Upgrade Firmware session
  • Go to the Transfer menu in HyperTerminal and choose the Send File
  • Change the Protocol to XModem
  • Click the Browse button and browse to the firmware file and select it, then click Open
  • When the file has been sent and validated, press the space bar to reset the KVM
  • Type V to display the versions and verify that the new version is listed

Firmware for the PS/2 Interface Adapter (262587-B21 or 262588-B21) and the USB Interface adapter (336047-B21) is contained in the HP Console Switch Firmware Update.
