Rack 10000 Series

• The 10000 Series Racks combine greater room inside the rack with your choice of heights in 47U, 42U, 36U or 22U and 600mm width and a 42U rack in 800mm width.
• The 10000 series racks have been built with strength in mind. The frame of the 10000 series rack has a patented 7x2 rolled design which unique to the industry. The steel is folded over 7 times rather, than just being cut thicker, which enables the rack to hold up to 2000 lbs of equipment in the 10642. The casters allow for a low profile (2 meters) while still fulfilling the high weight barring requirements.
• The 10000 series rack is an ideal rack for both large data centers and remote sites due to the variety of models and shipping options in addition to the features and rich suite of options.

• Deeper 1M form-factor maximizes the use of space within your rack and easily accommodates the increasing depth of next generation of servers and storage products
• Cope with the cable management problems of high-density environments with new features such as the large cable egresses with felt in the rack top, the removable access panel on the rear door, cable management Velcro straps and split rear doors.
• Unique frame and rail design supports all pre-merger Compaq platforms and select third party equipment. Focus on the heterogeneity is pretty important feature.
• Innovative, multi-angle design of the fully perforated front and rear doors provide efficient, convection cooling and improved visibility and ventilation. The doors have been tested to be 65% open - almost like having no door on your rack at all.
• U markings have been added to the front and side of all four mounting rails. Holes have been cut in the rails to allow side-to-side cabling.
• Tool-less options such as side panels make completing your rack installation quick and easy. These new side panels are half the weight of the 9000 series panels and are lockable for security and easy removal.
• Ability to mount equipment such as PDUs or switchboxes in the "zero U" space on the sides of the rack allows customers to maximize their rack space.

• Use Rack Builder Online to configure ProLiant, StorageWorks, power and networking equipment and options ensuring the perfect fit within each rack. Rack Builder Online will make sure you have all the options you need for your data center build out by adding in pieces that may have been overlooked - like KVM cables or side panels.
• Develop with HP your ideal integrated solution and receive your 10000 series rack fully loaded and ready for instant deployment when shipped on a shock pallet. By spending a few hundred dollars more for a shock pallet, customers can receive their equipment preinstalled within the rack with cables already dressed neatly within the rack - saving valuable set up and unpacking time.
  
  NOTE: it is mandatory to use a shock pallet when shipping racks with equipment installed. Shipping a rack with equipment installed on a standard pallet or crated voids the HP warranty.

	Sliding gland plate in top of rack allows for expandable room for cabling out the top of the rack.
U markings have been added to the front and side of all four mounting rails. Holes have been cut in the rails to allow side-to-side cabling.

• Customize each rack badge with your corporate logo for a consistent IT image or label them for easier rack identification. A blank badge ships in the hardware bag of each 10000 series rack.

	Removable access panel on split rear door accommodates cabling out the back of the rack.
Perforated doors on front and back of the rack provide maximum ventilation and visibility to rack mounted equipment.
	Lightweight, locking side panels require no tools to install.
