Overview

As the next step in the evolution of ATA hard drives, SATA is directed towards customers requiring the best price advantage for entry level servers and external storage deployments in non-mission critical, low workload environments. SATA drives are available in both 3.5" and 2.5" form factors and ship standard with a one year warranty.

HP 3.5" and Small Form Factor (SFF) SATA hard disk drives (HDD) are available in the following models: SFF 5.4K - 60GB and 120GB and 3.5" 7.2K - 80GB, 160GB, 250GB, 500GB, 750GB.

What's new

Introducing Native Command Queuing (NCQ) on 3.5" 500GB and 750GB SATA hard drives for increased performance
  • Usage for backup or low work load applications within the server or bulk storage deployments within MSA Storage Enclosures
  • All SATA drives ship standard with a one year warranty. Please review warranty documentation for details.
