Important Customer Notice

HP’s Trusted Platform Module (TPM) contains a security cryptoprocessor that stores cryptographic keys. When used in conjunction with encryption software, such as Microsoft’s BitLocker Drive Encryption, access to data in a platform is denied if the boot sequence is not as expected. For this reason, the customer should not only make sure to follow all procedures in HP’s TPM documentation but also all procedures from the encryption software provider.
