Product Questions
Q1. What ProLiant servers and options support Windows 2000?
A1. The final list of ProLiant servers supporting Windows 2000 is available on the ProLiant server support matrix. For hardware options, please review their respective Quickspecs available on their product pages.

Q2. How are ProLiant servers selected for Windows 2000 support?
A2. This final list of servers were determined by a number of factors such as Microsoft lifecycle schedule for the OS, new technologies with new servers not supported by Windows 2000, and with the most noteable factor that Microsoft stopped accepting certifications and logo submissions for server products in June 2006. Even though Windows 2000 may work on ProLiant servers that are not officially supported, a non-logo'd ProLiant server is not recognized by Microsoft as Windows 2000 compatible. This implies non or very limited support by Microsoft.
Q3. What versions of ProLiant software supports Windows 2000?
A3. The ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) 7.60 contains the final software drivers and management agents that support Windows 2000.

SmartStart assisted installation for supported server platforms will continue to be available until the supported server has stopped shipping. Latest drivers are available from the Windows 2000 software drivers download pages. Review the Windows 2000 Integration note for more information on final list of software drivers and firmware support.
