Microsoft Windows Server 2008 is the most flexible and robust Windows Server operating system to date designed to power the next-generation of networks, applications, and Web services.

HP helps you address your green IT needs through energy-efficient solutions for the data center and beyond.  Keeping with our green IT program, HP will now offer Microsoft Windows 2008 SP2 as a download only for all languages except Korean, Japanese & Chinese. Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V, the next-generation hypervisor-based server virtualization technology, is now available for download from the Microsoft Virtualization website. Hyper-V operates under Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter Editions. Hyper-V is not available for Web Server. Hyper-V runs only on Windows Server builds for x64 processors with hardware virtualization support, such as AMD-V or Intel VT processors.
