After a successful 12 year engineering partnership with Sun, HP is expanding its relationship with Sun to include selling Solaris 10 Subscriptions with HP branded support on certified ProLiant servers. HP will provide the subscriptions and support for the Solaris 10 Operating System on certified ProLiant servers and Sun will provide patches and updates directly to HP's customers through Sun's
SunSolve. HP and Sun will work together to enhance the customer experience for Solaris on ProLiant servers. As part of this relationship HP will also increase its participation in the OpenSolaris community. |
