The HP POD 240a has (2) 40 foot POD IT modules and an 8 foot wide common hot aisle module providing easy serviceability and flexibility for a variety of IT deployments. The HP POD 240a features include:

• Adaptive Cooling Technology – intelligently and automatically optimizes between free air (economizer) and DX (recirculation) cooling modes based on IT load and climate conditions.
• High density and easily serviceable footprint - A 10,000 sq foot data center in just 1/10th the space. Industry standard racks and high density capacity provide over 2,200U at over 1.3MW of IT capacity (over 30kW per rack). The hot and cold aisles enable the POD to be easily serviced - with the look and feel of a traditional data center.
• The Environmental Control System delivers comprehensive management, automation, and integration and features powerful remote management so that facilities and IT can be managed anywhere, anytime.
